18 - 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste

# Directions:
01 - Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and carrot, sauté for 4 minutes until starting to soften.
02 - Incorporate minced garlic, red and green bell peppers, and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
03 - Stir in cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, coriander, oregano, cayenne pepper if using, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently until fragrant.
04 - Add tomato paste, diced tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans, corn kernels, and vegetable broth. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
05 - Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened and vegetables are tender.
