Irresistibly cheesy, garlicky mini biscuits baked together for a shareable, savory treat inspired by classic Cheddar Bay flavors.

I first made these mini pull-aparts for a family game night. We all loved pulling them apart and dipping them in extra melted butter!

Ingredients

  • Biscuit Dough: 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional), 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter (cold, cut into cubes), 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 3/4 cup whole milk
  • Topping: 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted), 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (finely chopped), 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Prep:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin or line with paper liners.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Cut in Butter:
Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingertips until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add Cheese and Milk:
Stir in the cheddar cheese. Add milk and mix gently until just combined; do not overmix.
Divide Dough:
Divide dough evenly among mini muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
Bake:
Bake for 14–16 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Make Topping:
While biscuits bake, combine melted butter, parsley, garlic powder, and salt in a small bowl.
Finish:
When biscuits come out of the oven, brush tops generously with the butter mixture. Cool slightly before serving. Serve warm and enjoy pull-apart style!
