# Components:
→ Dry Components
01 - 1 cup (90 g) old-fashioned rolled oats
02 - 1/4 cup (25 g) chocolate protein powder
03 - 2 tablespoons (12 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 1/4 cup (40 g) mini dark chocolate chips
05 - 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
→ Moist Components
06 - 1/2 cup (130 g) natural creamy peanut butter
07 - 1/3 cup (80 ml) honey or maple syrup
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
# Directions:
01 - In a large mixing vessel, thoroughly combine the rolled oats, chocolate protein powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, mini dark chocolate chips, and fine sea salt. Stir until evenly distributed.
02 - Add the natural creamy peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir vigorously until a cohesive, dense paste forms.
03 - If the mixture appears too dry, incorporate 1-2 teaspoons of water or a milk alternative. Conversely, if it is too sticky, add a small amount of additional rolled oats until the desired texture is achieved.
04 - Portion approximately 1 tablespoon of the mixture at a time. With clean hands, roll each portion into a compact ball.
05 - Arrange the formed energy balls on a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper.
06 - Refrigerate the energy balls for a minimum of 30 minutes to allow them to firm up properly.
07 - Transfer the chilled energy balls to an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to one week or freeze for up to two months.
