06 - 1/4 cup natural unsalted peanut butter free of xylitol

# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, rolled oats, nonfat dry milk powder, and baking powder.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together applesauce, natural peanut butter, and eggs until smooth.
04 - Gradually incorporate the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until dough forms. If too dry, add water one tablespoon at a time to achieve desired consistency.
05 - Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll to approximately 1/4 inch thickness.
06 - Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter to cut dough and place pieces onto the prepared baking sheet.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden and firm.
08 - Remove from oven and allow to cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
